This week at #FestivalFilmClub, we reviewed The Book Of Life - a brand new family film for Half Term. Read reviewer Claires review below.. New animation The Book Of Life is a fun family movie, which will keep kids entertained and us parents laughing the whole way through! The story follows Manolo who is torn between fulfilling the expectations of his family and following his heart, encouraging us to look forward to the future whilst celebrating the past. Not too sure who enjoyed the movie more – myself or my two children! The children were stunned by the adventure, with amazing visuals, whilst every parent in the cinema was chuckling away at the jokes and song choices that they’re too young to understand! The film taught us about important life lessons, encouraging us to celebrate the past whilst still looking forward to the future. A great watch for half term for all the family.
