This week at St. Barts House the children will be looking at: Babies: This week the baby room will be creating a sensory tuff spot using split beans and will be making animal and farm vehicle prints and patterns within it. We will also be exploring the texture and listening to the different sounds. We will also be getting messy with paint creating cow patterns and will be creating our ladybird story sack. Toddlers: The toddlers will be creating their noisy day story sack and will be having a special music session with Robyn exploring different musical instruments. We will be exploring our rock star treasure basket and will be dressing up in the items. We will also be creating our own glitter hair gel and will be exploring this in the sensory tray. Lower pre-school: They will be continuing their travel around Europe exploring Spain and Italy via hot air balloon that the children will be creating. We will be looking at flamenco dancing and exploring Spanish musical instruments and returning to the UK to focus upon pearly kings and queens. We will also be introducing the letter sound t and focusing upon the number 2. Pre-school: We will be creating our Dragon Stew story sack and finishing writing our own mythical story about a dragon. We will be creating our own messy play dragon stew; creating new smells using different ingredients. We will be burying items of treasure in our sand pit to dig and sieve for focusing upon the letter sound m and will be creating a swamp tuff tray for underwater mythical creatures.
