Wednesday Night $4.00 Meal - 6:30 - Meatball Sub Casserole by Courtney......... come join us for this tasty treat...... Friday Night Meal $12.00 7pm- House committee will be serving... Country Style BBQ ribs, Baked Potato, Salad and Dessert...... Sign up sheet at the lodge or you can sign up via this post. Special thanks to Gary Bush from Jane Little for renovating our old beer tub into a great salad bar/cold bar that has been used as a salad bar for 2 meals so far and has been a great success. For poolside events, this cold bar can be used to keep food items fresh poolside..... great addition to our menus....... The event committee met last week and they have several events that they are working on for the upcoming months...... Please sign up for these events and support them so we can continue to have them... Some events in the works and paperwork is being prepared currently for Labor Day Pool Party, Halloween Costume Party, Christmas Gift Exchange Pot Luck, New Years Eve Party, Thanksgiving favorite dish and recipe pot luck, Valentines Party, Fall Festival, BBQ, etc....... Help is always needed by the members for these events that include decorations, cooking, clean-up, set-up, taking tickets, selling tickets, serving, kitchen help, etc..... Please step up and volunteer when available, it takes a village to have a successful event. We welcome 2 new June members to the event committee and look forward to their fresh ideas. Were looking forward to all the new members from last month that expressed interest in helping in those areas. Weve had great success this year with Mothers Day Brunch, Easter celebration, Flag Day Ceremony, Memorial Day, Friends and Family day and set records on July 4th........and want to continue with more great events in the future...... Reminder: If your family members have pool passes, please ask them to have the passes with them. We will be checking for passes over the upcoming days, weeks to ensure that everyone at the pool is an Elk, pool pass holder or paid day guest. We will have the list with us in case they forgot their pass. Thank you in advance for your assistance. If you need to get a pool pass for your family member, please let Pat McKinley, our lodge secretary know and if you have a guest for the day, the $5.00 day fee can be paid to the bartender on duty.
