This week in our grooming salon, we found and safely removed a paralysis tick from a dog. This dog lives locally and doesnt leave the area, which is concerning as paralysis ticks are considered uncommon here. Please check your dogs regularly for ticks, and if concerned about prevention, talk to one of our team about effective options. We stock Killtix collars and Advantix spot ons, amongst other treatments. Nothing beats regular checking though, and if you think your dog has a paralysis tick, it is worth a call to your vet. By the way, the doggie in question is fine!
