This week is National Eating Disorders Awareness Week. And for this week, Im standing up to say that I used to be anorexic. People dont realize that body-image issues also affect men too. For every Barbie doll telling some girl shes too fat, there were outrageously proportions He-Man and GI Joe action figures, to tell us that we were too scrawny. Add to that the out-of-control feeling most teens are hit with, and you have the recipe for an eating disorder. If you havent been to Post Secret this week, head on over right now.
