This week is Volunteers Weeks, a week dedicated to acknowledging and celebrating the contribution of volunteers. Latitude would not be here without volunteers. Latitude is governed by a Committee of Management, the membership of which is totally voluntary. The members meet monthly and complete a broad range of tasks, Financial Management, Legislative requirements, Human Resources, Occupational Healthy & Safety, Risk Management, Quality Assurance and the list goes on........Latitude is a professional service and an employer as such the role of the Committee of Management is a significant one. Our Members do it all for free...and seriously it can be a lot of work with very little acknowledgement or thanks. Their commitment is inspiring and we the staff and young people of Latitude just want to let you know that we really do appreciate and admire your commitment to young people in Moonee Valley and Hobsons Bay. If you have a chance, check out the exhibition at Hobsons Bay Council Foyer; Unsung Heroes....you may even recognize one...Mr Reilly!!! Well done you!
