This week marks the second anniversary of the passing of my cousin - TopicsExpress

This week marks the second anniversary of the passing of my cousin Bennie R Evans IV. Although Ben is gone physically, he is absolutely not forgotten. I just wanted to take some time to celebrate his life, honor his memory and all he meant to me and my family. In no particular order, Ben was an exceptional person, husband, father, son, brother, cousin, nephew, friend, dee-jay, chef, computer expert. With all that he was, I am thankful that in addition to being cousins, we became brothers and friends. I miss Bens humor, unique perspectives on life, his art of cooking and grilling and our talks on the Powe family heritage. Bens love for our family and its history inspired me to learn more about our roots and heritage in Cheraw, SC. I still read Bens messages and posts from time to time. It is my way of keeping him here with me. I also, thank Ben for the lessons I learned from his battle with diabetes and how to be at peace with myself especially during difficult times. Rest in Paradise Cuz. Ty
