This week my family remembers both my sons birthdays, Ryan is 40 today and Justin will be 37 Monday, the 8th. I am so thankful for them. We also remember father and husband, Ron (Patriot) Mason today. We lost him 8 years ago today to cancer. We always hear people say that those who pass away are in a better place. Ive always thought that was kind of a lame thing to say, but this week my mind has been drawn to what he might be experiencing..... I have no doubt that he is active and moving around in Heaven. No more climbing tall ladders outside in the heat and the cold, no more wearing heavy toolbelts as he works 16 hour days. I appreciate all the hours he put in to provide for us when he would come home exhausted and in pain. I am thankful for the assurance that today he feels no pain and he can feel the warmth and the joy that comes from living in the presence of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
