This week on Gracepointes... If you fly in an airplane a point of no return will occur. As the plane goes down the runway it will either fly or it will crash. The point of no return occurs when you cannot go back; you can only go forward. Once the plane is in the air a time will come when it must go to the destination because it does not have enough fuel to turn around and return safely to its point of origin. Only the pilot knows when that point happens. The passengers sitting in their seats are totally unaware of that moment. They are reading, sleeping, watching an onboard movie, playing a video game, or just about to ring the call button for another cup of coffee. All seems normal to them, but up front a major decision has just been made. Today we may be at a point of no return as a nation and as a world. We have been running down a long runway and we are nearing the point of no return. Many ask when that day will come to pass. To find the answer to that question we must take a look at some people that passed that point. “Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)” Hebrews 3: 7-11A point arrives when people rebel against God until they find themselves in the middle of God’s judgment. We really do not know when that point will arrive. What we do know is that this world is drawing closer each day. We must before it is too late, turn our face back toward God again. The good news is that we can and it is possible to turn around before we reach the point of no return. Pray that his turning will take place quickly or we, like that plane, will crash. Let us believe that God’s grace will touch all of us. And that is the point this week on Gracepointes. Pastor Ron Zimmer E-mail – [email protected] Website – gracepointeministries.net G
