This week on INSIDE POLITICS we talk with the two leading contenders in the Democratic side of the Tennessee U.S. Senate race at least in terms of fundraising and seeming overall support. Both Terry Adams and Gordon Ball are Knoxville attorneys and while both are Democrats, you’ll find some definite differences in their approach on some policy issues, and, of course, who they think is the best person to take on, and defeat Senator Lamar Alexander in the fall. With the GOP primary race seemingly tightening, there are some very interesting strategy topics to discuss about what happens next Thursday and how a Senate Democratic nominee might try to take advantage in a very red state. One of these two Democrats will be on the November ballot to try to break the party’s string of defeats in recent statewide races. Either will be the underdog (especially against Alexander). But I’d bet you haven’t seen either Democratic candidate in an extended interview. So here’s your chance to see who they are and what they have to say. Watch us this weekend!
