This week our Sunday School lesson is titled Wisdom for Daily Living and our golden key scripture is taken from Proverbs 4: 26 - 27 26 Watch the path of your feet And all your ways will be established. 27 Do not turn to the right nor to the left; Turn your foot from evil. Our daily bible reading for today is from Matthew 24: 45-51 45 “Who then is the faithful and sensible slave whom his [a]master put in charge of his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46 Blessed is that slave whom his [b]master finds so doing when he comes. 47 Truly I say to you that he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 48 But if that evil slave says in his heart, ‘My [c]master [d]is not coming for a long time,’ 49 and begins to beat his fellow slaves and eat and drink with drunkards; 50 the [e]master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour which he does not know, 51 and will [f]cut him in pieces and [g]assign him a place with the hypocrites; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Thought for today: Their are Two Kinds of Servants As Christians, we should live daily as though Christ may come today. Regarding being prepared for His coming, Jesus taught there are two opposite attitudes, represented by two kinds of servants. A wise servant is diligent about his responsibilities, always anticipating His LORDs return. A foolish servant is careless and irresponsible. Be wise, prepared for Christs coming.
