This week, our three WW2 Veterans will meet with RWF historian, author and former soldier Lt Gen Jonathon Riley CB, DSO. Ensuring that their eye-witness accounts from WW2 are documented for future generations. One of the men took part in the first ever Commando type raid on the French coast in May 1940 and later won an MM in Burma. Another fought in the Italian Campaign as a Paratrooper, and later in Greece.(We are very proud to share him with the Welshpool Parachute Regiment Association) The third fought at Donbaik, Kohima and Imphal.
