This week saw the creation of characters for Marvel Superheroes (the RPG, Justin, not the PC game before you ask). Introducing Cord (real name Colin Rodell): Colin was born to a circus family. His mother, Mary, kept and trained performing poodles, while his father Scott was an acrobat. As a baby, his parents were killed in a horrific car accident involving an out-of-control clown car. The hundreds of horrible, laughing, white-painted corpse-faces haunt his darkest memories. He death, but at the cost of a terrible head wound and severe brain damage. His life with the circus, as the charismatically stupid Cord the Strongman, continued until the day he was approached by experimental biochemist Dr Sarah Mograine, who offered him a trial brain-enhancement drug. The experimental compound reacted strangely with the metal fragments remaining in his skull from the accident, harming his already weak intelligence, but boosting his strength to phenomenal levels, and giving him an innate telekinetic control of machinery. His pathological fear of clowns persists...
