This week seems to be a big week for so many families. There are those who are having to release their children to big boy/girl school for the first time, others have commented on them being nervous because their child is moving on to the next step, whether it be middle school, high school or college. For those in college, some have stayed local but for many of us, we packed ours and moved them to different locals all over the country this past weekend. No matter what the step, whether it be for the little ones or the ones who are stepping out in the world for the first time, our God is there for them. Our job as parents are to release them to Him and allow him steer them. Yes we are there for love, encouragment, but we have to put our faith and trust in God and let him do his job. 1 Samuel 1:27 I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD.
