This week the Robinsons encounter a heatwave/water shortage. This means strict water rationing but whats this? Remaining water supply plummeting? Wheres it going? Into this episodes best scene, thats where! Don and John catch Smith taking an outdoor shower, the Robot holding the nozzle, and BOTH of them singing authentic Italian opera! A furious John asks, Howd you get it out of the tank?, Smith: Suction, Don: Well that figures, Ill bet you sucked gas outta cars when you were a teenager!, Smith: I was NEVER a teenager in your sense of the word!. Robot starts singing Figaro again. They go off in search of water, they find an oasis (not the band), cant drink cause they gotta test it first, When no ones looking Smith drinks anyways and so does Debbie the space monkey. Both turn into giants, later rain comes, cures them both, everything back to normal. I consider this a pretty good episode. Its got really interesting camera angles, plus the characters explore their relationships wt Dr. Smith in a fairly intelligent way. When Debbie the space monkey turns huge they clearly have a different monkey playing her. That monkey does not receive an on-screen credit.
