This week, the Senate committee overseeing an independent audit - TopicsExpress

This week, the Senate committee overseeing an independent audit of Senator Pamela Wallin’s expenses recommended that she be ordered to repay $121,348 in travel expenses. Canada’s auditor-general, Michael Ferguson now plans to launch a formal review of all Senate office and travel expenses. Senator Wallin joins a growing list of Senators who were found to have filed improper expense claims: including Conservative senators Patrick Brazeau, Mike Duffy and former Liberal senator Mac Hab. This consistent misuse of public funds and disregard for ethical governing is deeply concerning. Canadians deserve greater accountability from their government. theglobeandmail/news/politics/auditor-general-to-review-expenses-of-all-senators-amid-spending-scandal/article13803963/ If you have not already, please sign our #noethics campaign and help call for an accountable government: leadnow.ca/noethics
