This week, the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Mammal Rescue Centre - TopicsExpress

This week, the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Mammal Rescue Centre released a group of female harbour seal pups back into the wild at Porteau Cove. The pups, all rescued earlier this year, were fitted with satellite-linked transmitters temporarily attached with animal-safe glue. The trackers help researchers understand the factors that affect the survival of animals that are rescued, rehabilitated, and released. You can check out the info sent by the seals at vanaqua.org/act/direct-action/marine-mammal-rescue/tracking. (Photos: Leanne Scherp/Susannah Street)
