This week the bridge ministry was blessed to have several new foot soldiers join our teams. Little did we know that very early on our route we would need the gifts of two of our new recruits. When we met Kelly in the park it didn’t take long to figure out that she is deaf. She was trying to communicate with us using sign language. This would typically be a problem for us because usually no one on our team knows sign language. However on this day we had Linda and Jessica with us and they both know sign language! Can I get a Granite Woot, woot! What a joy it was to see Kelly’s face light up when she was able to communicate with them. Praise God for divine intervention. This is the kind of thing we see all the time when we are out doing this ministry. Whenever we step up, God shows up. We praise God also for the salvation of Jorge. He was ready and eager to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Please pray that he continues to move forward in his walk with the Lord. We met Nancy who called us over because she wanted to share her story with us. She is eighteen months free of heroin addiction. She credits this to her salvation in Jesus. We also had the opportunity to pray for Amanda who is going through a difficult time. Today she came to Granite United and enjoyed the service so much that she said she is going to bring two people to church next week!
