This week we are honoring a very special 7 year old named Allyson Mansel. Ally was recently diagnosed with AML, a very aggressive form of Leukemia. But by the grace of God along with sleepless nights filled with prayer, she has been declared in remission! Even after receiving this wonderful news, she will remain in the hospital for the next 4 to 6 months receiving treatments and still has a long hard road ahead of her. Texas Childrens Hospital has done a wonderful job capturing the beauty in Allys spirit as you can see in the attached video. She was chosen to represent the countless number of children whose lives are affected by Cancer across our Nation each year. As you take a moment to view the video, please say a prayer for Ally and her family to continue her path of full recovery. Allys friends and family are hosting a benefit at the VFW in Conroe, located at 1303 W. Semands. All proceeds will go to Allys parents, Steven and Megan, to assist with the overwhelming medical expenses brought on by her disease.
