This week we are introducing our Groove Festival fans to music from some new faces on the music scene and who will be opening Groove each day. Groove introducing... Donna Dunne! Donna started performing when she was 16 years old and started writing songs in her early 20s. When growing up Donna was heavily influenced by blues, rockabilly, country and rock n roll with Elvis being her number one idol. The turning point in Donnas career was a trip to Memphis! Early 2014 saw the release of ‘Way Back Then’ to much acclaim. Shortly after, Donna secured a six month tour of Europe coming back home only once to play on the main stage at the Groove Festival. In April Donna did an acoustic performance at Abner Browns Barbershop in Dublin. Enjoy watching the video and hearing the sound of Groove Introducing artist Donna Dunne!
