Please place your order no later than 10:00AM Thursday. Country Sourdough White, $6.00 – A tiny amount honey gives this mild flavored batard a subtle sweetness. This country white features a dark crust, a fairly open crumb and a hint of sour on the finish. This loaf is great as a table bread, good with soups and sandwiches. It is a fine accompaniment to most cheeses. Ingredients: Wheat Flour, Whole Wheat Flour, Rye Flour, Wheat Germ, Honey, Salt. Brioche, $6.00 – This classic French loaf is one of the richest breads created. Brioche features a high egg and butter content plus a small amount of sugar all held together in a veil of flour. With a thin delicate crust and a soft airy crumb, this bread is sure to bring a smile to your face. Be sure to try it lightly toasted with a little jam! Ingredients: Unbleached Wheat Flour, Whole Eggs, Unsalted Butter, Sugar, Salt and Yeast. If you would like to reserve a loaf or two, please indicate your selection and quantity. As always, all breads will be hand shaped, baked in small batches and be ready for pick up at 974 W. 42nd St. Pick up times are 3:00 – 6:00PM Friday.
