This week we said goodbye to Quentin Tarantula, who spent the last - TopicsExpress

This week we said goodbye to Quentin Tarantula, who spent the last 8 years beneath the large stone front step of the Main Building. She was a very large and very hairy tarantula, much beloved or feared by hundreds of interns over the years. Her lair sits empty. We sent chaya, coconut and mango to Helping Older People Equally. We planted more pineapple and close to the front gate in an area where the canopy has become suitable for cacao, we planted some of the criollo cacao we love so much. In the new areas we also planted some allspice trees, some banana and plantain, and prepared some beds for a mixture of basils. Our ducks hatched out 12 ducklings and yesterday Nice Pig birthed three piglets. Tonight was pizza night, and we had 8 pizzas made. There are only six people here right now. Guess whats for breakfast? The best pizza was a pesto and jalapeno pizza with a pile of jalapenos. Photos on Tuesday! Have a good weekend wherever you might be!
