This week we took the last grandchild to Disney with just the two of use Each experience has been completely different. Maeve wanted to get autographs and see every Disney princess and character that we could. Animal Kingdom was her second most important thing. Truman loved climbing the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse and riding the Speedway racers in Tomorrowland He was enthralled with Epcot and the technology. Ian loved to ride almost everything, but he really loved Hollywood Studios and Star Tours and Indiana Jones the most. But, this week Silas, the one we thought would be more timid than the others, proved us wrong and wanted to ride anything and everything, including Spaceship Earth at Epcot - twice - Pirates of the Caribbean (which his brother was afraid of), Aladdins Magic Carpets, where he could make us go up and down, Buzz Lightyear - three times - the Speedway Racers - three times, and seeing all of the shows that none of the others wanted to do. To all grandparents, take your grandchildren to Disney, but take one child at a time without parents, siblings or cousins. Great four days of one-on-one with Grammy and Pa. .
