This week we will be introducing the 4 members of the 2014 Senior Staff. Our senior staff members are leaders at their activities and amongst their peers, while also being responsible for a certain area of camp. This first member to be introduced is: Dexter Rowe -- Co-Head of Ropes Course -- Head of Upper Camp College/Major/What you want to be when you grow up: -Auburn University/Aerospace Engineering/Flight Test Engineer Years at Laney (camper and staff): -This summer will be my thirteenth (7 as a camper; 6 on staff) Favorite Laney meal: -Sunday Chicken and Rice Funniest and/or favorite camp moment/memory: -Playing camp fire songs Favorite thing to do at Laney: -THE KAMIKAZE SWING How Laney has impacted you: Camp Laney is responsible for the man I am today. As a camper I had the best weeks of my life here. Now that I am a staff member, I love this job more than anything I’ve ever done. I have made some of my best friends among the staff at Camp, and I have helped campers face challenges and accomplish goals in their time here. These things make being a camp counselor the most rewarding work there is.
