This weekend I had my first bulletproof coffee. I blended a spoonful of organic coconut oil into my coffee and it was a creamy latte like beverage. I wasnt hungry for four hours! My suggestion is if you want to lose a few pounds, try adding a bulletproof coffee in your morning routine a few days out of the week. If you do this, it is important to include lots of plant based foods in your diet. The enzymes in the plants will help you metabolize the fat correctly. Keep in mind, this is not a good idea to drink these every day. Large amounts of fat will kill your appetite for a long time, several hours. This will effectively reduce the amount of nutrients you are eating by 30% if you skip a healthy breakfast in place of a bulletproof coffee or tea. Therefore, make sure you alternative your bulletproof days with a nutritious breakfast such as scrambled eggs with berries and kefir. Most people do not get enough essential fats in their diet though so using this method off and on for two months, will normalize your fat digestion and improve your mental clarity. Be sure to not skimp out on the nutritious meals and use this as an occasional weight loss of focusing tool because saturated fat is healthy in reasonable amounts, but potentially not when we start eating massive, unnaturally large doses.
