This weekend I received the feedback that many characteristics of my play closely resemble that of a drunken master. While I have always enjoyed and been entertained by the concept of a drunken master, I am not sure what this means for me. A loose and laid back player who can flip a switch and hit you with an angle you never saw coming might seem like the perfect marriage of Johnny and Spike, but is it really what is best suited for achieving my competitive ambitions? Should I own and build upon this aspect of my character? Or is drunken simply a wrinkle of master that still needs to be ironed out?
