This weekend Madame Cecilia the county minister for culture , social services & gender and I were hosting the Botswana High Commissioner H.E John Moreti. We visited Gathuthi Tea Factory, Kimathi University & planted trees , laid a wreath at Lord Baden Powells grave,visited maternity wing at Nyeri PGH ; visited Karatina Childrens home and Narumoru Childrens home . He presented gifts and pledged to look into ways to assist the two Childrens homes. During a meet the Nyeri Business Community dinner to explore ways of partnering ; Waruguru Kiai gave the vote of Thanks , I am very proud of the Youth in Nyeri County who are very intelligent , focused leaders of today.
