This weekend has made me a better person. I am humbled and also - TopicsExpress

This weekend has made me a better person. I am humbled and also reassured that I did the right thing by quitting my job to do what I love which is cheerleading. I got to witness AMAZING performances of one of my clients and it was a crazy awesome roller coaster (which I love more than cheerleading lol) that really tested the athlete and coaches minds as well as mine. I always say that its still not perfect, and I think all my cheer friends will agree, but to see these young athletes want so much for each other and for themselves and come out so hungry for that trophy and banner is just something that brings me so much joy. These kids dedicate pretty much their life outside of being at school for one common goal. To win. They look past their injuries, personal feelings, setbacks, etc to make sure their team performs at 150% to ensure a top score. I never in my wildest dreams thought that I would be doing what I am doing for a living. I didnt even know my sport, and yes... I said SPORT, was a thing. The feeling I used to get when competing is honestly indescribable, but that feeling is second to that of being a proud coach and choreographer. That feeling is beyond words. Not even this post will describe it. Congratulations to KX Athletics on your many achievements this weekend!!! 3 First places and 1 second as well as best dance, best pyramid, best senior choreography!!! My mom always told me The sky is the limit and You can do anything you set your mind to. That is the damn truth. Thank you everyone that has supported me and given me the knowledge to be the choreographer and person I am today. Do what you love and love what you do but whatever it is, just make sure its driven by passion.
