This weekend in Daytona, the 2015 racing season kicks off with the 24 Hours of Daytona. Fifty years ago, the season kicked off on February 28 with what was known as the Daytona Continental, a 2000-km event that became the 24 Hours of Daytona the following year. In that 1965 race, the top three finishers were Ford GT40 P-103, Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe CSX-2999 and Ford GT40 P-104. All three of these cars are part of the Larry H. Miller Total Performance Museum at Miller Motorsports Park. Although P-103 is currently being restored, P-104 and CSX-2999 are here and waiting for you to come visit!
