This weekend was EPIC! Ive not partied like this in forever. Thanks to my friend, Tinesha Turner, who sent out an email blast on Friday to invite everyone to her impromptu birthday party on Sunday. Only she can do that and have nearly 100+ people to show up and some even traveled by car and by plane from other states. Totally amazing! Tinesha is so loved! I love parties where my children and even my grandbaby are welcomed. Needless to say, I stayed in bed all day long on Labor Day recouping. I havent danced so hard in so long and Im sure I resembled an 80 year old man with arthritis on the dance floor and I didnt even care. I had fun for the first time in years. I didnt think at all that night which is a first for me. And as life would have it, the last time I actually partied was 2 years ago at another one of Tineshas parties. At that party, I smoked a hooka for the first time and took a shot (havent done neither since). Only my friend can get me out of the house without a book and make me glad I left. I cant stop thinking about Sunday. And even Charebear was on cloud nine. My grandbaby, Pj, had a circle around her on the dance floor as she bopped to Back That Thang Up (the video is on Faiths page). Now, as I head to the cancer treatment center to be by Tineshas side as she get her chemotherapy, I cant help but smile and giggle at the mere thought of her. She makes cancer look like a chump.
