This weekend was a true honor and tribute to Most Worshipful William H. Simpson, Past Grand Master and Past Secretary of the Greensboro Valley. The spirit of brotherly love was everywhere in the building this weekend--the kind of spirit Bill brought to everything. Feeling that warmth again was a true blessing that we shall long remember. WE welcome our 15 new Masters of the Royal Secret and are grateful to the entire valley for the support given to make this reunion one of our best ever, especially to Bills widow, Marian whose presence graced us at lunch today. It felt like we were hitting on all cylinders this weekend and that new sound system was fantastic, wasnt it? Whatever anyone did this weekend deserves our deepest gratitude and appreciation. To share this event with our good brothers from Winston Salem was wonderful as well. On a side note, I did hear a few people say that there hadnt been much publicity about the reunion. I also heard that many people dont read the Scottish Rite Journal. All I know for sure is that there are great Scottish Rite Masons in Greensboro and that number is about to grow greatly!
