This weekend was not very good for us, a client that we have worked for around 5 Years at several events, again changed director of their Fall Festival. When we arrived on Saturday we were told that he did not have money in our budget to pay us but we could stay as a vendor and charge for our services. Many expected the usual free portraits and balloons and would not pay for them. We were hired by the former director Months ago for this date just like many other Years before. We had other offers of events that wanted this date but we told them it was already taken. We received some tips but not anywhere near what was due to us. We are talking to the leaders of the group and hope that they fullfill their agreement or we will be forced to take action which could be refusal to be involved with any of their activities anymore.
