This weekends easter egg hunts are: April 18th Middleburg – Grace Covenant Community Church, 6:30pm for children preschool age and younger and 8:30pm for children kindergarten through fifth grade. Bring your own basket and flashlight. Richfield - Bason Park, 11:30-3 with the Easter Bunny arriving at noon and easter egg hunt starting at 2pm for ages 1 year to sixth grade. April 19th Danville – 10am at the Danville Middle School and F.Q. Hartman Stadium. Hosted by the American Legion Post 40 Dewart -- 2pm at the Dewart Church. Ages preschool to seventh grade, sponsored by the Dewart Community Association and Cabinet Surplus of Dewart Lewisburg -- 1pm at Brookpark Pet Supply, 400 Farley Circle, Bone hunt for leashed dogs, donation of $3 per dog. Herndon- 2pm at the Line Mountain high school Lewisburg – 11am at Hufnagle Park, donations for the Transitions Crisis Center be accepted as well. Madison Township – 2pm at Katy’s Church, corner of Wolfe Hollow and Katys Church Road. For children 12 years and younger. Mifflinburg -- 10:30-12:30 at the Buffalo Valley Church of the Brethern, Route 45 west 1.5 miles west, inside event for children through fifth grade. Millersburg – 12:30pm at the MYO for children birth through age 12. Hosted by the First United Methodist Church Milton -- 11am at the Milton Public Library Paxinos – 2pm at the Ash Grove United Methodist Church, Route 61. Children aged 2 to 10. Sunbury – 10 am at the Fort Discovery Playground, for all children up to age 10. Hosted by the First Reformed Church. Sunbury – 11am in the children’s area of the Degenstein Community Library for children age 10 and younger. Sunbury – 1pm at the Shikellamy State Park Marina, next to the playground. Hosted by the Northumberland County historical Society Watsontown – 11 am at the Eighth Street Pavilion, hosted by the Watsontown Lodge No. 401. Watsontown – 10am at the Warrior Run Petcare Center, Eighth Street Drive. Includes biscuits for all the dogs, owners asked to bring their own baskets and all dogs must be on a leash.
