This weeks Lamont Sanford Award Winner: The Cleveland Browns, for letting media pressure force into start Johnny Shutout yesterday. And to anybody else that allows ESPN or whomever change what you know you see. Anybody reading this post ever seen a 5-11 qb that runs a 4.7 40 w questionable decision-making skills be a successful franchise qb in the NFL? No you hvent. ESPN told u (often in the same show) that Mike Vicks style cant work, that Kaepernicks style cant work, that RG3 style cant work. Then turn around and told you that Johnnys style needs to be seen right now. He plays the same style as the other qbs I mentioned, except hes not as Talented as any of them. Comical. Also, a special Lamont nod to those that let media folks tell you that a rookie who got injured, but earned a starting spot on one of the best defenses in the league, is a bust. Injury doesnt make a player a bust. Not in one year. Yet, Manziel couldnt beat out a journeyman qb for 13 weeks, then had to be handed the job, didnt earn it. Isnt that more like a bust? Stop being sheep. Manziel is just good for ratings, he makes us media folks job easier. Doesnt mean he can play.
