This weeks #WorkoutoftheWeek involves doing a one leg kneel while catching and throwing a medicine ball. This exercise is deceivingly beneficial as it targets your core and inner knee and thigh muscles while toning both your arms and back simultaneously. The inner knee and thigh muscle, also known as the medial meniscus, are often the least worked muscle of the body. However it is vitally important to work these out as this helps in maintaining healthy knees and reducing the risk of injury. Tip: Be sure to do equal amounts of catch and throws on each knee and from each side. Please note that these are my Workouts of the Week however I suggest that you consult with your physician before beginning any exercise program.
