This weeks issue of Binah has a recipe for chicken cooked in a crock pot. The description talks about how nice it is to make a crock pot recipe - turn it on in the morning and come home to a freshly cooked dinner. Except - the recipe only calls for it to be cooked for 4 hours; so unless I turn it on at 11:59 am and eat dinner just after 4 pm, that isnt happening. I know, petty, but it does show how these recipes dont always get the reality of life for moms who work outside of the home.
