This week’s #TrainerTip is from Coach Anna this week. “Improved thoracic mobility will not only improve your posture, but it will also help you with just about every movement that we do. The thoracic spine should be able to rotate, twist, flex, and extend, however, a lack of mobility will limit our ability to do so. We often compensate a lack of mobility in the thoracic region by attempting to make up for it by putting the shoulders in a less-than-optimal position, and by attempting to use the lumbar spine (low back), which is built more for stability and to resist rotation. Take time to move efficiently to continue improving your performance! Check out this #mobilitywod video with a few different #mobility exercises to add to the end of your training:
