(This went out right before the intermittent facebook outages yesterday so I am posting again, but then again…some anthro clubs are known for being a bit apathetic, is yours?). {Want To Be The Featured Anthropology Club in ShovelBums Newsletter?} Anthro & Arch clubs never seem to get any glory. Here is your chance to showcase a great part of your department! The deadline is September 5th 2014 for the next issue. Would you like to be the first Anthropology/Archaeology Club Featured in the next edition of the ShovelBums NewsLetter coming out in a few days? If you do you will need to be the first to contact me at ShovelBums.org (see below for rules they are different for US and abroad). For US Anthropology Clubs: you must be the first student from an Anthro club to contact me using the contact form at shovelbums.org/ (comments or submissions here will not count). The catch is that you *must* include a picture of one of your club members either wearing, or with, any ShovelBums Gear (shirts, stickers, etc…). [Update - oh hell, at this late date screw that :-) ] Please include the email address of the appropriate representative from your club in the comments sections (does not need to be the same as the submitter), the name of your university and the name of your club. For Canadian/UK/and beyond: Just be the first from your country to contact me at shovelbums.org/ and include the email for a representative from your club. What do you get? You will be able to include any description you want about what makes your Anthro Club awesome, picture of the club or an activity your club has done, talk about your department field school, etc... Basically something you will be able to print and hang up in the main office and say Yeah, we rock.
