This whole biggest loser scandal with Jillian giving the contestants a caffeine pill is ridiculous. I agree that the overweight contestants shouldnt have been given anything that could give them a boost. BUT she is correct that the pill has less caffeine that a normal cup of coffee. Im sure these people, as well as, many Americans drink coffee or something everyday for a boost, whether it be tea, coffee, 5 hour energy, pre-workout mixes. I understand being overweight or in some cases obese can seriously put these contestants in a predicament with the heart rate speeding up. Whether its for ratings or not, these people are filmed 24/7 except when using the restroom/showering etc...SO that being said she couldnt have integrated the pills without SOMEONE knowing about it. And if the pills pose that much of a threat to the contestants Im sure she would have been fired right then and there and not let her continue to put the contestants in harms way. I still love this show and what it does for some people. Im friends with one of the former contestants and will continue to support this show and what it does for society. Now that they brought kids into the mix and showing how bad child-hood obesity is I love the show even more. This show, staged or not, saves lives. Its not getting drunk and hooking-up, its not Ill meet you and marry you on a TV show. Its real results from obese people, those results CANNOT be staged! #biggestloser #stillloveJillian
