This will absolutely be the last of these posts; Two years ago at this time, I was sleeping... I was driven home by my aunt and uncle, feeling kinda orphaned. I had put the sign on the shoppe door saying that Id be closed due to a death in the family. I had to sleep after the vigil we held at Mums bedside, and I knew that the day was going to be busy. I remember being very business after my Mum passed away: I started putting everything away, packing her belongings, taking an inventory. It was a Wednesday. I never dealt with Mums death... no thats wrong, I dealt with it in terrible manners: I hid from it at the theatre, I walked 53 kms to try and run from it, I broke hearts to try and blame it; but I never faced it. When I finally did, the fire that was just a tiny flame, burned like the bonfires we used to have at the cottage: to everyone I hurt: my family, my friends, my business, my Kevin I am so incredibly terribly absolutely sorry.. Ive learned my lessons, Ill carry those scares, if you can all find it in your hearts to forgive, in your time, it would rest my soul. If not , I understand. Mummie, I miss you so much; youd have been so disappointed, and hopefully so happy with the journey Ive been on and the transformation Ive made; not a day goes by that I dont miss the hell outta ya. But I now hold all my balloons; I got them all back; and Im the only one that can keep my feet on the ground and my head in the clouds. Keep feeding me those images from the universe; they are spectacular. Thank you for all that you did for me, for my life, I paid my debt, and I can let it go now. Much can happen in two years, in two hours, in the blink of an eye. Choose your friends well; love your family much; pay attention equally to work and passion, either can consume you. Love your life and the lessons it brings you, it shapes the world you see. Get out of your head; it is the only place where things are so much more terrible than they really are.
