This will be a lengthy note: Todays clean up was a big success! Approx.50 showed up ready to work and did just that. We filled to the max 2 roll offs and got a good start on the third which is still being filled by the guys when we left. This was a day I have been praying for, not just for the clean up, but rather working in harmony with the other groups and churches made today a special day of fellowship for me and I hope everyone else as well. I love that nobody was their for any other purpose but to serve God! And all the Glory is his. I do want to give some thanks to some incredible people,. The ladys from Victor Valley Brown Sack Lunches for providing a delicious and plentiful lunch for all the volunteers, you knocked it out of the park again! Clothing Connection crew for your service of all us out there and promoting the event. Orchard Christian Church of Hesperia, You are an incredible bunch of people. I love how you came ready to serve and enjoyed your fellowship. I am looking forward to planning that mission trip with you soon. Jesus is Lord Church, you guys were a blessing to us all. Your youth work directly with me for part of the morning and were a testament of good teaching and strong service, I like working with the youth they keep me laughing. Jose Oseguera I am proud of you and enjoy your company every time you join me. Not many 17 year olds give up the fun day you had planned to come pick up trash for God. treasures in Heaven kid! To all the homeless we serve, today you came through and showed how with just a little help your more then willing to clean and take care of your own mess and even that left behind by others. I pray that we can soon begin to build hope Haven and start working on all the messes in our lifes. To the San Bernardino Co Sheriffs, Hope team. Thanks for taking our request and coordinating the dumpsters for the clean up, and for coming out today and showing how a different approach can work and even begin to change attitudes. To Victorville Community Services for all your help and trash bags, but mostly for your commitment to help us keep it clean all the time. We do appreciate you! Last but certainly not least to my girls Brittany and Amber and grand babys Bubba and LeLe, Who have been faithfully serving beside me since God put us in this ministry, I call out commands and seldom say please or thank you when were in the middle of things, but you still keep coming back!
