This will be long and I was tempted to not bother, but I know that I am not alone in my struggles and sorrow and fears for things in my life beyond which I have control, and yet are most precious to and most deeply loved by me. As I went before The Lord, I confessed to Him that I am utterly powerless to change hearts, to bring healing, to restore and redeem anything at all, but that I come to the ALL powerful, ALL mighty, One True God, Who is not only capable of, but LONGS to do these very things!!! As I prayed and cried out to Him, He directed me to Ezekiel 37. I love this, and will simply ask that you please, please read it!!!!! Ezekiel 37:1-14. God can restore that which is dead...hope, love, faith, families, our very lives!!!! Those things that He desires to give us and that appear to have NO life, NO purpose, NO HOPE of being restored, these dried out bones. He says to Ezekiel, and I believe to you and to me: Son of man ( my praying child) these bones represent (the children of God). They are saying, We have become old, dry bones--all hope is gone... Therefore, prophesy to them and say, This is what the Sovereign LORD says: O my (children), I will open your graves of exile and cause you to rise again. Then I will bring you back (to Myself). When this happens, O my people, you will know that I am the LORD. I will put my spirit in you, and you will live again (in the freedom I offer in Christ) and return home.... Please note, that I changed words here and there and brought in truth from the New Testament to make this scripture my prayer. Please read it yourself and you can do the same. We ARE engaged in battle! Satan likes to cause me to lose hope, to become fearful and depressed. I am not giving in!!! Please dont you give in either!!! Life is so hard, just as Jesus said it would be...why are we surprised?? But greater is He Who is in us than he who is in the world. Now, I pray that God, the Source of hope, will fill you (and me) completely with joy and peace because (we) trust in Him. Then (we) will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 🙏
