This will be my last post concerning the video that has gone viral on the young man from the service in the COGIC Holy Convocation from Saturday evening... the segment where he made a declaration has been edited, remixed with other stuff and it is being laughed at, made fun of and even caused some to even criticize the churchs handling of him and the encounter... I hear the words of Jesus saying He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her... John 8:7b I see a great opportunity to bring healing and deliverance, there is also an opportunity for us to reflect at ourselves, why is this type of thing so entertaining? Has satan allowed this to be a distraction to true believers? The word reminds us that if it were possible, he (satan) would fool the very elect... Can we really afford to misapply our energies on that, or do we make the investment to first pray, for ourselves that we become more sensitive and caring, then for the young man and the countless others who suffered abuse like him who really need help and guidance and for the church at large to seriously become revived before it is too late... What I do find funny is that so many have had so much to say concerning the young man and the segment that they saw and they were not even there, nor have they seen the entire service that the segment was extracted from... I am learning to be less articulate when you dont have all the information, it has also caused me to ask God to forgive me for my own immature responses to posts similar to this in the past.... there is an old quartet song that I hear and am making it my banner, I oh I, I just wanna be right Be empowered fb, lets get it right, before we get left behind...
