This will be on my business brochure: “Therefore we do not - TopicsExpress

This will be on my business brochure: “Therefore we do not lose heart…for it is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” (2 Corinthians 4:16, Galatians, 5:1) I am confident that Gods word has all of the answers to every human problem and the human condition. The writer of Ecclesiastes assures us that “that which has been is that which will be, and that which has been done is that which will be done. So there is nothing new under the sun.” What this means is that though circumstances may be unique to each individual, there is no one on this earth who is on an island of suffering. What you may be experiencing now in the form of the suffering you are going through, someone, in some way, even from the beginning of time has emotionally and physically experienced, yet God is more then aware…the God of the universe comes intimately close to the suffering heart. In fact, God uses suffering in our lives as a doorway of hope into finding true healing in Christ. I take the stance of A.W. Tozer and echo his timeless words, “because we are the handiwork of God, it follows that all our problems and their solutions are theological.” we only need to take it beneath the cross. At Beneath the Cross Counseling you will be introduced to Biblical counseling and the belief in the sufficiency of the Scriptures to address your deepest need. If you are at a crossroads where past counseling has failed, self-help books gather dust, group therapy has run its course, addictions hound you, and freedom seems unattainable, you are in the right place. I am confident through Biblical counseling that freedom can become a reality in your life. Joy can be restored. Your life can have new meaning and purpose. It will be work, so come prepared. If you are ready to take that step and let God put back together the shattered pieces of your life into the beautiful masterpiece He intended it to be, I look forward to meeting with you. This is a safe place. Our hearts will ache together as we let God’s truth wash over every raw wound and battle scar. The healing will come, dear one, the healing will come. Beneath the Cross Counseling addresses: • Marriage and Parenting • Anxiety • Depression • OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) • Eating Disorders • Grief and Loss • Panic Disorder • Identity Confusion The Scriptures speak to the very heart of these problems; your heart. Healing always begins with the heart and the heart is where we will carefully and gently begin. Other methods may bring temporary relief to symptoms of these disorders, but that is often all they can offer. When God does something through Christ, He completes it, and it is never temporary. His desire is to make you complete. The word itself denotes “lacking nothing, being filled up, to supply liberally, to carry through to the end, to accomplish.” Being complete in Christ is a place of rest where God takes on the work of making you complete (Colossians 2:10). Here is the invitation: “Come to me all who are weary and heavily burdened and I will give you rest, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
