This will be the only thing like this I ever share, mainly because Ive seen it being shared and realized people will share anything of this flavor. Today isn’t yesterday. Change must be essential for us to continue to grow economically, technically, socially, and as the world leader we proclaim to be. These are some good points, some embellished. If I found out 70% of my pay was going to taxes, first I would fire my accountant. But some of the “working poor” have no problem dropping off their paychecks at Starbucks or surrendering to the high costs of cigarettes. I guess they can’t be that broke. Btw, I don’t mind getting “groped” at the airport. They don’t know if I have ill intent. As long as this helps me from getting my ass blown up at 50,000 feet halfway around the world or crashing into a building, thorough TSA checks make me feel safer. As far as cameras stalking me on the street, they are a good reminder not to pick my nose in public. Law abiding folks need not worry. Surveillance cameras may help catch the bastard that decides to steal my purse, jack my car, or push me in front of the D train or poison my cat. Possibly even deter the random armed robbery in a bodega. Without increased security technology, thugs would run amuck like in a third world country. Gee, people get nanny cams for their own sense of security. Same difference, but on a bigger scale. There is so much propaganda posted on the Internet, many folks don’t even question the validity or investigate details, they just jump on the bandwagon and RT or share it. Is that an attempt to sell their supposed POV? They need to either shit or get off the pot, or else they are just being a negative hater, a keyboard commando. Hey America, if you are going to rant, can you offer some constructive criticism, maybe even become active in real life rather than just post from the comfort of your recliner? And as far as “land of the free and home of the brave”? Our forefathers were free of the governing rulers of their mother land when they came here and, well history spells out that story. And maybe the home of the Brave had something to do with the folks that originally lived here who had no border control. Well, here we are now. So come on America, we cannot avoid change. We are not living in the 1700s anymore. Change starts with us, the decisions we make, and who we vote for. Sometimes, the popular vote may just be that: Candidates becoming popular among their constituents – for all the wrong reasons. If this continues to go on, we will all be doomed. No, I do not have an answer. Therefore, I will not be playing the blame game and share slams that make our country seem foolish anymore than we already are advertising to be. What is wrong with US?
