This will take me a while to recover from. If you have read my writings, you know I have long had it in my heart to go abroad. Chile had been my planned destination for some time. When the opportunity presented itself, I jumped. Of course there was some intrepedation. However, that was dispelled the moment my plane touched down in Santiago and I was met by two friends who quickly became family to me. Shortly after, my family grew, and then within a few days, it grew even more. The peace I had. The longing in my heart was finally getting a chance to be fulfilled. I can honestly and with enthusiasm say that there is not one thing I would have changed in the last nine days. It was perfect from start to finish, with the exception of the parting at the end. The past few days, I was getting more and more introspective as I dreaded having to leave. Today...I was a wreck at the end. I would finally get composed, and then it would start all over again. Such an ache in my heart, sadness. I know in my heart that I want to be there. From this moment onwards, my efforts are going to be focused in that direction. I am at peace with the decisison, and I believe it is what I am meant for. Thank you all for the prayers and support. Flight to Toronto was turbulent but fine. Boy next to me lost his breakfast. It is very cold and snowy here. Lots of wind. Not looking forward to being back in this weather. Waiting for my last flight to Columbus. Lots of pictures to come when I am home.
