This woman was a Bentonville institution! I think she babysitted every kid in the county. She was warm wonderful and caring! You will be missed Pat Payne BHS Class of 1966: Pat Payne Patricia Jane “Pat” Payne, 66, of Bentonville passed away October 16, 2014 in Springdale. She was born February 8, 1948 in Bentonville, the daughter of Orville and Ruth Gamble Rodgers. Pat graduated from Bentonville High School in 1966. She was a member and sang in the choir of First Baptist Church in Bentonville. Pat also was a Benton County Fair Board member, a longtime volunteer for the Bentonville/Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce, and an active participant in 1840s Living History events. Preceded in death by her husband Harold Payne. Survived by her children Jacob Payne and wife Kattie of Gravette and Jessica Costaldi and husband Mario of Fayetteville; two brothers Steve and Bill Rodgers both of Centerton and one sister Querida Echols of Gravette; two grandchildren Nelson and Devin Payne. Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 20, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Bentonville. Private internment in the Fayetteville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Circle of Life Hospice. Online condolences at Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers.
