This workshop has been CANCELLED to due to lack of enrollment! SCENE STUDY WORKSHOP FOR TEENS For the first time Veteran actor/teacher Lance E. Nichols will be offering a SCENE STUDY WORKSHOP FOR TEENS (ages 13-17) in New Orleans. This course will focus on breaking down text, active listening and living moment to moment in a given circumstance. This course is NOT for beginners, but for persons who either have a background in theater or film or have taken previous drama classes. You will be given two films to watch that we will discuss in class. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Mr. Nichols is a veteran with over 150 credits in film, television and theatre. His most memorable roles include the faith healing preacher in THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON, D.A. Jeremiah Goodhusband in BAD LIEUTENANT: PORT OF CALL NEW ORLEANS, Hamilton Watkins in the film WELCOME TO THE RILEYS with Kristan Stewart, James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo, Gene Clancy in the NETFLIX series HOUSE OF CARDS with Kevin Spacey. He recurred for four seasons as Dr. Larry Williams on the HBO series TREME playing the husband to actress Khandi Alexanders character LaDonna. Mr. Nichols has 3 faith based films being released this year; I AM POTENTIAL, MOMS NIGHT OUT with Patricia Heaton, and the much anticipated remake LEFT BEHIND with Nicolas Cage where hell be playing Pastor Bruce Barnes.
