This event will focus on topics essential for understanding the impacts of war and the issues that veterans face in adjusting to civilian life. The featured Keynote Speaker is Sergeant First Class Jon Hill (Ret.) who received the Silver Star for Exceptional Valor in what has been called one of the deadliest battles waged in the war in Afghanistan and is the subject of the book The Outpost by Jake Tapper. Conference sessions are described below.
