This world has always been full of aspirations of people the so called dreams. Each individual has ones own little world and desires. The desires makes one act, the action becomes Karma. There are good karmas and bad karmas. In general, selfless action is good karma and selfish action is bad karma, there can be many modifications to this, it is being generalized here. Good karma brings rewards, the rewards may not be immediate,the reward may come in another incarnation. Similarly bad karma will bring punitive action at some stage and cause suffering to the individual. All sacred scriptures harp upon good deeds and thoughts for this very reason, one has to really think hard and dismiss negative activity in life if one desires to attain peace and enlightenment. If one reflects upon ones thoughts and actions one will have a fair idea where one stands in life as a whole God has so designed the creation knowing that people are apt to do wrong due to greed and lack of understanding about the purpose of human birth so in the design of creation he designed prayers in many forms. Prayers to the god not only destroy negative karmas it brings happiness and joy to the individual who prays regularly. It is never too late to start to pray, do japa, meditate. The life will become better. A new vision will gradually ensue. One will start feeling good and light. Do not wait for a guru to emerge, that is a later aspect, just start praying with a simple and loving heart.
